Riab village is located in the plain of Gonabad. Riab Tourism Village is located 3 km west of Gonabad, and has a short distance from the Qanats of Gonabad.
In general, the indigenous climates of the region are warm and dry due to the desertification margins and distances from the sea. The main features of the climate of the region are the phenomenon of drought. The village is in a warm and dry climate for climatic zoning.
Most of the agricultural water comes from its aqueduct. Mazar Abu Mansour Ribei is located near the embankment of Qanat. Residents are mostly engaged in traditional agriculture. Old residential buildings are all bricks with brick decoration. The mosque in the castle, the Anbar water above the village, the water storage of the castle, the tomb of Abu Mansour, the castle towers, the old school, the bath and .... are among the attractions of this village.
Riab has a thousand years written history and is one of the oldest villages in the country. The village was registered as a national treasury in 2008. During the many years since its life, the village of Riab has been displaced several times, as the old cemetery of the village is located inside a residential building and people have been building houses for it. The new cemetery of the village is located next to the crater of Qanat and in the vicinity of Abu Mansour Riaby.
